The second year we got the GEICO pre-roll brief, we had a new problem. A media buy without any skip buttons. So how do you keep viewers from hating a pre-roll ad they’re forced to watch to the end? Simple. You fast-forward through it, so they can get to their video faster. At the end of each :15 pre-roll, viewers could click to watch the full-length ad and see what they missed.
